The CGSA Select Soccer program is committed to developing youth soccer players and helping each and every player reach his or her full potential. CGSA offers top-level teams for those players who are committed to the game and have the ability to play at the state, regional and national level.

Every May/June CGSA holds player evaluations and select soccer team tryouts. Any youth soccer player (Boys & Girls U/9-U/19) may attend a CGSA Academy/Select Soccer tryout. There are no set teams, so all players have an equal chance of making a team each year. At CGSA, select soccer players are evaluated and selected for the program by CGSA Club Director and his selection committee.

Notice:
Try-outs for Fall 2010 will have mandatory attendance. All players will be required to attend try-outs unless prior arrangements have been made with the Club Director. Only players with extenuating circumstances will be accomodated (i.e. injury, sickness or family emergency). Try-outs for a select team are very important. Please do not schedule a summer camps or vacation during this time as it will not be deemed an extenuating circumstance.
