Rohit D’Almeida coordinates the U4 to U8 program for CGSA and was invited to be an assistant coach for FC Barcelona’s (FCB) camp in Miami.  He coached players aged 5 and 6 years old for the morning session; 8 and 9 year olds for the evening session.  He also attended a one day coaching clinic hosted by the FCB coaches that covered the FCB philosophy and methodology of play.  The month long camp featured just over 1200 players from all over the globe with 6 FCB coaches.  Unique to this year’s camp was it coincided with the first team FCB USA tour.   The camp was visited by FCB Vice President, Josep Bartomeu; Director of Professional Football, Andoni Zubizarreta; FCB Ambassador in the USA, Mia Hamm and show cased FC Barcelona’s recent triumph the Champions League trophy.  Rohit says “the experience has helped me grow so much as a coach and I cannot wait to share the experience with everyone at CGSA.”
