Charlie joined the staff at Frederica Academy 2004 as Athletic Director and Head of Soccer. He has lead the both the Frederica boys soccer team to 4 State Championships and 2 State Runner ups trophies. He has lead The Girls Varsity teams to 5 State Championships and one Runner up Trophy in his 6 years at Frederica. Prior to Frederica Coach Morgan was involved in administration of youth soccer clubs in the Atlanta area since 1999 working with Peachtree City Youth Soccer and The AGC Lightning Soccer Club. Coach Morgan has been involved in coaching soccer since 1992, and has coached at the youth, college and professional levels. Coach Morgan has also been involved in the management and day to day operation of 3 professional soccer teams. Before getting hooked on coaching Charlie had a long playing career, playing in college, leading Clemson to a National Championship in 1984 and 7 years as a professional player. Charlie has had the privilege of working with 4 players who have gone on the represents the United States at Various Youth World Cup Coach Morgan and his wife, Katy, have 2 children at Frederica, Keegan (’16) and Gray (’17).
 
Charlie holds the two highest soccer coaching licenses in the US, The USSF “A” License and the NSCAA Premier Diploma; Pass with Distinction (top 5%)
